Hi! We've had a nice, lengthy break from the Craft Series, and hopefully we're all refreshed and ready to get back into workshop mode!
Who's up for snagging a question from the list and starting off some discussion?
What: Grab a question from the list and write something up that addresses the topic.
Who: If you've got a fair amount of writing experience under your belt, you are absolutely welcome to volunteer.
How: Pick any question from the list that you feel like you can answer based on your own experience writing fic. You don't have to cover all the angles -- just enough to set up a discussion.
When: Before our break, posts were going up every five-to-ten days. So if you could post within a week from today, that would be ideal.
Format: Please put the question topic in the subject line. If you'd like to use negative examples to illustrate a point, it would probably be best to make them up for the sake of discussion. Critiquing pro-fic is one thing, but I'm of a mind that fanfic is a gift of love and ripping it apart without authorial permission (and participation) is just not cool. Positive fanfic examples are fine as long as they show success in whatever you're trying to illustrate.
Again, this is a Q&A series, so the Question AND the Answer should inspire discussion. You don't need to cover every angle in your answer -- just offer your take on some possible solutions and open the floor for comments to explore it further. :D
There are newer additions to the list of questions, so there's a lot to choose from! Remember also that you can add more questions at any time. :)
Okay, so...volunteers? Comment below! First come first serve -- I'd love to have a handful of people on deck for the coming weeks.
Thanks!! ♥
