Everything is going beautifully! I'm SO THRILLED with how well this series on writing is turning out! If you haven't yet seen
dkwilliams' post on Endings, please go look. It rocks.
Now it's time for another call for volunteers!
What: Snag a question from the list and write something up that addresses the topic.
Who: If you've got a fair amount of writing experience under your belt, you are absolutely welcome to volunteer.
How: Pick any question from the list that you feel like you can answer based on your own experience writing fic. You don't have to cover all the angles -- just enough to set up a discussion.
When: Posts have been going up every five-to-ten days. So if you could post within a week from today, that would be ideal.
Format guidelines: Please put the question topic in the subject line. If you'd like to use negative examples to illustrate a point, it would probably be best to make them up for the sake of discussion. Critiquing pro-fic is one thing, but I'm of a mind that fanfic is a gift of love and ripping it apart without authorial permission (and participation) is just not cool. Besides, most of us know each other, and hi, we're the fandom of relentless, Fraser-like courtesy, yes? *g* Meanwhile, positive fanfic examples are fine as long as they show success in whatever you're trying to illustrate.
Again, this is a Q&A series, so the Question AND the Answer should inspire discussion. You don't need to cover every angle in your answer -- just offer your take on the solution and open the floor for comments to explore it further. :D
If you can take on a question, please comment below! And as always, please add more questions to the list at any time! Several more topics have been added since it first went up, so check out what's new -- you may find something you can cover!
Thank you!! ♥
