I am an active babywearing advocate and I've read much about amautis, but I'm curious how frequently you see them in everyday life. Do only native mothers use them? Up to what age do they use them? I saw a picture once of a native woman making one out of skins, but I'm wondering if you saw modern fabrics more often. And, most importantly for story-writing purposes- do you ever see men wearing them? Because I would love to see Fraser with a little one snuggled in.
